The ODA New York design firm recently put together a conceptual design for a series of waterfront buildings located in Toronto that are aimed to add more green space to the urban area. The buildings feature an innovative twisted design that stacks an array of terraces overtop one another giving the units as much exposure as possible to the sun.
The skyscrapper's unique curved L-shape is inspired by the way plants gravitate towards the sun. The units are stacked overtop one another as each is slightly more angled than the next creating a creative twist design to the overall building. This gives each living space as much sun as possible while situated next to the busy area of Toronto's waterfront.
