Toronto Debuted the 'Waste Wizard' to Streamline Waste Management

In an effort to allow consumers to conveniently streamline their waste and recycling systems, the City of Toronto recently launched the Waste Wizard app -- a simplified waste management system. The app allows users to verify whether their products belong in the garbage, in the recycling bin, or in the compost bin.

The Waste Wizard also allows users to easily confirm waste collection schedules and also to set automatic reminders based on their address for when to take out their waste. In addition, the app includes a map with drop-off depots and donation centers, so city dwellers are aware of where they can dispose of unwanted goods.

The Waste Wizard is compatible with all smartphones and tablets and will simplify how consumers tackle their waste.
