Dayne Levinrad Uses Waffle Cones to Hold Creamy Espresso Drinks

— June 8, 2016 — Lifestyle
Johannesburg barista Dayne Levinrad decided to serve his caffeine in waffle cones at The Grind cafe. He created the hashtag #CoffeeInACone to give his innovative idea more exposure on social media, drumming up more consumers for the shop as his Instagram-worthy waffle cone coffees made their way around the web.

Not only do the waffle cones offer a unique cup to carry your coffee in, each one is coated in a velvety chocolate that melts in your mouth as you drink. As normal waffle cones were too thin to hold the liquid for a long period of time, Dayne Levinrad decided to create his own variation that wouldn't be. The cones hold the hot drinks for up to 10 minutes -- however this amount of time likely isn't necessary anyway.
