The Vogue UK Be Precise editorial will be featured in the January 2015 edition of the magazine. Fashion editor Lucinda Chambers put together a series of ensembles that color block in a subdued manner, displaying how readers can match varying shades that are best suited to winter weather.
While color blocking often calls for bright ensembles, Chambers managed to make the motif appear subdued and casual. She did so with the help of model Julia Bergshoeff who sported dark turtlenecks, cape-like jackets, chunky jewelry and a series of nude pieces.
Mixed in with these largely relaxed looks were retro 1970s-inspired outfits. This was seen in oversize tunics paired with flared trousers and crisp, clean lines. Given how many themes are at play in Be Precise, there will be much for readers to take away.
