For Black History Month this year, Snapchat created a virtual art gallery that can be accessed through a world lens. With this lens, Snapchat users are able to explore 'For Us, By Us: Art Through the Eyes of Black Millennials,' which is touted as "the first-ever augmented reality museum dedicated to young black artists."
Throughout the month of February, users will be able to explore the works of various young artists in an interactive digital gallery setting. Like a traditional art gallery, each piece of art is paired with a title and the name of the artist but the experience makes the most of the digital format—when users get closer to each piece, it becomes displayed across their entire screen.
