The VIMOB shelters, the invention of Colectivo Creativo Arquitectos, are designed to be easy to construct and set up in areas that are otherwise difficult to access, let along build dwelling spaces in. This shelter features a prefabricated and modular setup that makes it incredibly easy to assemble in a fairly short period of time.
The shelter prototype is flexible and modern. It covers an area of 37 square meters, and is designed to provide easy access to surroundings. There is also a smaller version of the shelter that covers an area of only 28.5 square meters with one bedroom and one bathroom, and is suitable for a couple.
The VIMOB shelters prove that places that aren't well suited towards traditional construction, whether due to an absence of labor or difficulties in procuring the required building materials, simply have to find a different solution by embracing prefab and modular structures.
