'Villa Eiders' has a U-Shaped Layout

Most homes have a simple, cubic layout, but Villa Eiders makes use of interesting morphology in order to create a dynamic home both in the interior and around the exterior. Though the home is made out of relatively common materials like timber and glass, it's u-shaped layout splits its volumes and makes it far more interesting than the average abode.
From the street that abuts Villa Eiders, it isn't immediately clear that the home has such an irregular shape. The side of the home facing the street is flat, leaving the home's enclave hidden. However, the courtyard formed by the shape of the home gives the residents a relaxing area from which they can view the pine forest beyond. That courtyard patio also opens onto a pool for lounging in the sun.
