Mattel's Most Famous Doll is Now Broadcasting Her Own Videos on YouTube

Barbie recently joined YouTube with a series of video diaries about movies, music and style. Mattel started the new project as a way of bringing the famous doll into the digital age.

The video diaries are posted to YouTube and run for about three minutes. The premise behind the videos is that Barbie is live-broadcasting from her brightly colored bedroom in Malibu, California. Similar to other YouTube stars, each Barbie broadcast shares personal style tips and discusses popular topics such as music and movies. Barbie even includes a 'fun facts about me' list, which is something a number of other famous bloggers feature in their own videos.

Barbie already has an extremely popular Instagram account and now she can add YouTube sensation to her resume as well.
