Roar is a new vegan ice cream brand out of the UK that was created to help save endangered wild cats. Specifically, the brand will be supporting the conservation group Panthera and its Tiger Forever Fund, which aims to increase the number of tigers by at least 50% over a decade. As there are only about 3,900 tigers in the wild, part of Panthera's mission is to monitor tiger populations and train anti-poaching teams.
Roar is making its debut with dessert-inspired flavors like Coconut Mango Passion Fruit Oat Cookie and Hemp Seed Chocolate Brownie, which are touted as super-premium plant-based ice creams. The palm oil-free products are made with ingredients like coconut, hazelnut paste and UTZ Certified cocoa and feature generously sized pieces of cookies and brownies.
