Plant-Based Ice Creams

Pols Ice Cream Introduces a Vegan Coconut Ice Cream Variant

Food Union, Latvia’s leading dairy and ice cream producer, is updating its iconic Pols brand. For the first time in over half a century, Pols is going plant-based with the launch of its first 100% vegan ice cream.

Crafted with a creamy coconut milk base and finished with a smooth coconut oil glaze, the new vegan Pols reimagines indulgence without compromising on flavour or texture. Every ingredient in the recipe is fully plant-based and vegan-friendly. The vegan Pols maintains the classic single-serve format that generations of fans have come to recognize and love.

"This is more than just an exotic new flavor. It’s a turning point in the Pols story. For the first time since 1971, when the original Pols was created at Rīgas Piena Kombināts, the brand welcomes a fully vegan ice cream, crafted with premium-quality coconut milk," said Ģirts Liniņš, Brand Manager for Ice Cream at Food Union.
