Adriano Rodrigues Uses UV Lights and Black Light For Stunning Portraits

Adriano Rodrigues is a New York-based photographer and creative artist who uses UV lights and black lights to capture model Sarah Luke for an entrancing project titled 'Neon Dream.'

He uses specialty makeup that causes the UV lights to react, making the model look like she is in another world entirely. Vibrant neon paint speckles her face and body while her hair glows with color. Achieving the look took the tremendous effort of artist Breeanna Nichols, with the makeup process taking hours.

In order to get the perfect look, Sarah Luke's entire torso, face and hair were covered in black makeup and then the neon color and other details were added over top. The makeup and photography together took seven hours and editing the pictures took Adriano Rodrigues an additional six.
