Century Pacific Food is venturing into the plant-based meat alternative category with unMEAT, which boasts the look, feel and taste of meat without any of the cholesterol or the trans-fat. Powered by non-GMO ingredients, the unMEAT burger patty boasts 230 calories and 17 grams of protein per serving thanks to a recipe that uses ingredients like soy protein, vegetable oil, onion, wheat, salt, vinegar and soy sauce. To perfect the flavor profile and clean label of the plant-based patty with natural materials, Century Pacific Food worked with Symrise Group.

In the United States, the unMEAT burger can be found on the menu at Jeepney, a Filipino gastropub in New York, and in addition to being produced in the form of patties, it is also available as sausages, nuggets and a meatless pork mince.
