Made of countless solid beech parts on an adjustable strap, this unique bench has the ability to move around like a centipede. The design, titled KEÏKO, incorporates joinery technology into furniture. While the KEÏKO provides versatility in its form, it can still effectively uphold heavy weight. This is an award-winning project by renowned French designer Gregoire de lafforest.
The prototype was inspired by sycamore leaves. Just like stringing a bunch of leaves together, the bench is produced sliding each wooden block after another. The bench is finished with a matte varnish for a sleek look.
The fact that this bench can move around freely makes it one-of-a-kind. The KEÏKO could adapt to fit in any room stylishly.
