This project by Mikel Uribetxeberria called ‘I Dream About Being You’ plants the photographer’s face in a number of different photos. The collection takes us through a journey of different generations. Uribetxeberria even pulls off the looks of many different women remarkably well. I am quite astounded by these portraits--the fashion, hair and makeup they use is all perfect.
They remind me of old-school portraits. In this album, however, you see everyone from a priest to a preppie, a hunk in 1970’s-era soft focus, a geeky young girl, and a sexy lady who could have been your best friend’s mom.
Due to their uncanny resemblance--and the collection’s title--these images seem to get freakier the longer you look at them.
