Whiskey-Branded Hurricane Shields

Stillhouse Whiskey Created 'Unbreakable Hurricane Shutters'

Hurricane season is devastating the Southeastern United States, so Stillhouse Whiskey, a Bacardi-owned brand, is planning to help hurricane-proof some homes with 'Unbreakable hurricane shutters.'

In collaboration with the disaster relief nonprofit SBP, Stillhouse Whiskey will be providing 400 Florida homes with metal shutter panels that can weather the anticipated storms, protecting homes from the hurricane's winds. In an effort to promote this initiative, Stillhouse launched a video campaign that detailed survivor stories from past storm seasons, highlighting the mass devastation and loss that can arise.

The metal panels were molded out of the unique stainless steel cans the brand uses as appose to regular glass bottles, resulting in a protective layer that can help prepare homes for the approaching storms.
