Palace Joins Anglepoise on a New Type 75 Lamp Design

Palace works in collaboration with Anglepoise on a new co-designed lamp that takes the signature Type 75 silhouette as the base foundation. It is then detailed with a glow-in-the-dark coating and joins the roster for Palace's Holiday 2022 capsule. This marks the first collaboration between the two British brands -- Palace adds two specific features to the design.
It starts with the glowing treatment and the second is the logo that is seen detailing the base of the lamp. During the daytime, the lamp appears white and has the logo in black as a touch of contrast. However, when it is dark, the lamp glows and the team describes this as a design that is inspired by British Rave Culture, “[Given that the] Anglepoise glows in the dark; it is simply – and permanently – lit.”
