Though buying a home is a serious endeavor, one that should hardly be taken lightly, the Trulia app -- available on Apple TV -- makes shopping for homes significantly easier. Rather than having to call up a real estate agent to speak with them or use the clunky interfaces on most real estate agents' websites, Trulia elegantly aggregates listings in a user's areas of interest, allowing them to home hunt without leaving the comfort of their (current) living rooms.
Trulia doesn't let prospective buyers purchase a house, nor even contact the property's real estate agent directly within the app, however it provides a slew of convenient services. Beyond simply seeing availabilities, users can look through images and even take a video walkthrough if the realtor for that unit has made one.
Today's "there's an app for that" ethos extends even to the very serious, financially imperative world of home buying.
