A group of scientists and engineers working out of the University of Washington Bothell have come up with an exceptionally innovative and high-tech new trike design that is designed to fully and boldly embrace self-driving technologies.
Funded by a $75,000 grant from Amazon Catalyst, this trike design manages its functionality by seamlessly incorporating some of the latest and greatest autonomous technologies around into a typical tricycle frame. This allows for the vehicle to accelerate, stop and turn in order to make its way towards its destination, although it's still a work in progress that requires more work to become a truly autonomous and self-driving trike.
