Laverne Cox, Janet Mock, Carmen Carrera and Geena Rocero are the gorgeous transgender women who appear on the cover of Candy Magazine's fifth issue. Titled 'The Role Models,' the special anniversary issue is dedicated to honoring "the glamorous women who lead the trans revolution."

It's no secret that transgender people have few role models to look up to in popular media. That unfortunate fact appears to be slowly, but surely, changing, as several transgender celebrities are breaking onto the scene, most notably, Laverne Cox, who stars in the Netflix Original Series 'Orange is the New Black.'

Hopefully, the visibility of transgender people will continue to increase, giving transgender youth positive role models to look up to in the media.
