Multifaceted Swimsuit Cover Models

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Enlists Martha Stewart on its Cover

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shines a spotlight on Martha Stewart as the multifaceted television personality makes her way on the cover of the publication's 2023 edition. This also makes her the oldest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model yet. On the cover, Stewart was styled in a white swimsuit from Monday Swimwear with Torso Creations' orange coverup and was photographed in the Dominican Republic by Ruven Afanador -- the rest of the issue covers 10 additional bathing suits.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editor-in-Chief MJ Day states that “There is no theme [to this year’s issue]—rather, there is a vision, a sentiment, a hope that women can live in a world where they feel no limitations, internally or externally. But the absence of a theme is not to say that [these women] don’t share certain common traits. They’re constantly evolving." Day continues, “Never in her life has she let her circumstances dictate her outcome. She’s changed with the times—always one step ahead, it seems—to build a wide-reaching business empire.”
