When new Jeep concepts are announced, the response is inevitably one of hype and wonder, and this is something that's pretty understandable when you take a look at the brand new Jeep Trailcat concept.
Unveiled at the 50th Annual Easter Safari, the Jeep Trailcat is most probably best described as a dual-personality sports vehicle. This high-tech Jeep creation is powered by a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine -- probably best known for its use in the likes of the Dodge Charger and the Challenger Hellcat -- that is fully supercharged and capable of pumping out as much as 707 horsepower's worth of raw juice. This engine setup is hooked up to a 6-speed manual gearbox that offers the driver full-on control over performance.
This Jeep concept stays true to Jeep's age-old philosophy of powerful performance and combines it with modern auto engineering approaches for a truly spectacular result.
