Clif Bar Launches Innovation-Focused Hub, the Trailblazers Incubator

Energy-focused food brand Clif Bar & Company has announced the launch of the Trailblazers Incubator, an in-house new ventures group dedicated to building sustainable business opportunities for the brand through "disruptive innovation."

Located in California, the incubator currently consists of a team of “intrapreneurs” who have joined forces to develop new growth strategies for the company, applying a lively, start-up-inspired methodology. The Trailblazer's first product innovation, CLIF Pet has already been announced. The new plant-based treats for dogs are set to hit store shelves in early 2022, showcasing the new incubators' outside-the-box approach to product development.

“Just as Clif Bar was founded on disrupting the energy bar category nearly 30 years ago, the Trailblazers Incubator is built to consistently deliver our bold innovation agenda and accelerate our growth plan,” said Hamdallah," said Chief Innovation Officer at Clif Bar, Rizal Hamdallah.
