CreaBoost, the Vireo Systems creatine brand, is bringing creatine monohydrate production to U.S. manufacturing at its Plattsmouth, Nebraska, operation, giving supplement companies a domestic ingredient source. The shift expands CreaBoost beyond finished creatine tubs, as the monohydrate is also available to other companies that build it into their own formulas.
The expansion requires an investment of more than $20 million and adds about 70,000 square feet for manufacturing, storage and distribution. Pilot runs are scheduled for March 2027, with full output targeted for the second quarter of 2027. Plattsmouth produces ‘CON-CRET’ creatine HCl, so monohydrate joins existing production.
CreaBoost shows how domestic monohydrate production can broaden sourcing options for supplement companies that want a U.S. creatine input, not just a branded finished product, while the added manufacturing space makes it a more direct supply partner for companies that need creatine from a single U.S. operation.
