This conceptual traffic warning sign has been designed by Ming-sheng Shih as a solution for urban roadways where bridges or overpasses are present to prevent avoidable accidents using the latest technology. Embedded with all-weather sensors, the traffic light will automatically scan oncoming vehicles to ensure they are under height restrictions. The sign will change accordingly to let drivers know they are clear for passing, should approach with caution or need to change their route because their vehicle is too tall.
