The Bathroom Towel Cleaner Invention Kills Allergies-Causing Bacteria

This concept towel cleaner is capable of killing off bacteria in a matter of seconds. The Pure Towel is an ultraviolet light cleaner. It acts as a solution to airless bathrooms with poor ventilation that too often leave towels damp and smelly. Designed by student Leobardo Armenta for the 2014 Electrolux Design Lab challenge, the invention moves up and down at the push of a button, drying the towel with light and a fan.

The Mexican design student explains how the towel cleaner addresses fast paced living by "reducing energy consumption and providing a positive impact on people's health by killing bacteria that cause allergies and respiratory diseases." The Pure Towel would also mean you would use traditional laundry methods less.
