Bite-Sized Mini Frittatas

Burger King is Serving Tortilla Bites for Breakfast in Puerto Rico

With the popularity of pint-sized breakfast offerings like Starbucks' Sous Vide Egg Bites, Burger King has begun serving up its own mini frittatas in Puerto Rico called 'Tortilla Bites.' Despite the name, the new Tortilla Bites do not include any actual tortillas. Instead, the name refers to a Spanish tortilla, which is similar to a frittata, and not the Mexican flatbread.

Available exclusively from Burger King Puerto Rico, the new Tortilla Bites are essentially bite-size quiches without the crust. The frittatas are served in pairs, and come in both bacon and veggie varieties. And if the latest commercial for the new Tortilla Bites is any indication, the dish is a great breakfast option for kids and adults alike.
