Musician-Joint Eyewear Frames

Toro y Moi and Warby Parker Join Forces on a Collection

Toro y Moi and Warby Parker are the latest forces to work in collaboration and together, the duo released a pair of frames. It takes the Mahal silhouette as the base foundation. Chaz Bundick, better known by his stage name Toro y Moi designs the two exclusive sunglasses for the label, stemming from his eclectic and expressive design language, there is a brand new vibrant orange colorway that is named after his latest album, Mahal.

It is also jointed by a Papaya tonal option that features red gradient lenses. Talking about his new capsule to HYPEBEAST, he states “Warby Parker reached out to us and told us to let them know if there was any time to collaborate. Sometime after the record was finished we let them know our timeline and we started from there. We had several meetings for creative and marketing that really shaped a lot of the project and then there were a few improvisational fun things thrown in.”
