This the Tomorrowland music festival is making it easier than ever to make new friends—Facebook friends, that is. The festival has been going strong since 2005, now with gatherings of over 400,000 people who come together for music. It can be easy to connect with someone you meet at a festival, but with a crowd, it's not hard to lose that person forever. So this year, Tomorrowland is introducing a special kind of bracelet that lets people send instant friend requests to one another with just the press of a button.
Festival attendees will be sent their bracelets in the mail, which gives them time to log into the site and authorize the bracelet to connect to their Facebook account ahead of time. Entrance to the festival will require music-lovers to wear a bracelet to get in, which ensures that some new friends will be made.
