The Skywalk Looks Down onto the Rock Nature Preserve in Gibraltar

— July 3, 2018 — Art & Design
Built above an existing WWII military platform in Gibraltar, the Skywalk offers a one-of-a-kind view of the beautiful surroundings from a modern structure.

Placed on one of the highest points of the Rock of Gibraltar, the lookout features a cantilevered viewing platform, glazed floors and walls and a unique set of stairs that make all guests appear as though they are walking into the sky. Arc Designs transformed the former base for anti-aircraft Bofors guns by wrapping the structure around the existing stone platform and adding a 2.5-meter-wide glazed walking space that goes up and over the steep terrain.

Offering unparalleled cliffside views of the city or sea, the Skywalk is a must-see for all travelers visiting Gibraltar.
