Mjölk Architekti Designs the Guard Patrol with Four Viewpoints

Czech design studio Mjölk Architekti designs the Guard Patrol which has four viewpoints on top of the Straz mountain right over the town of Rokytnice. The four towers are designed to represent three different animals -- a fox, a bear, and sheep, as well as a miner.

All of these are characters from the Rokyynice coat of arms and the name of the four villages in Czech that formed in order to create the town. The new lookout can be accessible by going through a hiking trail and allows visitors to enjoy the surroundings. The studio states, "Part of the philosophy of this and other similar projects was to draw people to less frequented places like this and away from the over-touristed areas of mountains."
