Shawn Uldrige and his wife Kimberly Lowery created the Publishing House Inn, placed in the bustling end of Chicago's West Loop. The 11-room bed and breakfast is the first classic inn of its kind in the area -- housed within the Historic Methodist Publishing House that was originally built in 1909.
The space features an intimate design that was completely renovated and filled with hand-picked vintage furniture and local flea market findings. The high ceilings, refinished wood flooring and exposed brick offers a mid-century feel that is both comfortable and stylish. Each guest room is individually furnished and inspired by notable Chicago authors, creating a one-of-a-kind stay for travelers.
The Publishing House Inn is a unique travel option that provides guests with a traditional vacation and home-cooked meals to create an aesthetic that is warm and modern.
