Thriller Novel Hotel Experiences

Tempo by Hilton Times Square Reimagines the Housemaid

Ahead of the December 19 release of The Housemaid, the psychological thriller adapted from Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel, Tempo by Hilton Times Square has introduced an immersive hospitality concept that blends storytelling with place-based experience. Through its 'Room & Book' package, created in collaboration with New York City’s Book Club Bar, the hotel extends the novel beyond the page and into the guest stay.

The package includes "a copy of The Housemaid, a bottle of wine, and a curated cheese and charcuterie plate, complemented by a $150 food and beverage credit for use at the hotel’s signature lounge, Highball." Within this setting, guests can engage with a themed cocktail inspired by the novel’s tonal shifts, encouraging a slower, more reflective reading experience.

Guests may request the book in advance and are encouraged to explore nearby cultural landmarks such as The Frick Collection, The Morgan Library, Central Park, and the Upper East Side. These surroundings reinforce the novel’s themes of hidden lives, observation, and understated tension, positioning the stay as a layered and experiential extension of the story itself.
