The Phone Co-op is a UK-based, socially responsible business cooperative offering phone, broadband and mobile services while also staying true to its "think global, act local" motto. Organized by membership and therefore run by its members, the Phone Co-op aim to be good neighbors and advocate for "long-term" thinking that perceives the necessity of investing in social enterprise today in order to invest in tomorrow.
The Phone Co-op, founded in 1998, gives back to its communities with initiatives that include supporting a range of meaningful community projects and maintaining a start-up fund to help kick-start budding social enterprises.
The cooperative is also dedicated to maintaining environmentally responsibility and boast policies like that of offsetting their CO2 emissions and that of their suppliers, while their electricity comes from sustainable resources.
