The Phlox collection by London studio Rainlight includes a range of delicately designed tables and seating. The studio created the range for Japanese office furniture brand Okamura. Informed by the soft shape of petals, items in the Phlox collection bring a sense of softness to the working environment.

Designers at the Rainlight studio decided to name the collection after the night-blooming flower, the phlox. The range includes elegantly shaped conference and lounge chairs, a high stool, and five different table shapes. Each table is distinguished by its gently rounded silhouette, thereby mimicking the soft phlox flower petals. Moreover, the chairs are defined by their undulating seats; however, each chair style boasts varying degrees of back support.
