The Marriott group opened the Moxy Hotel, the latest from the chain in Osaka, Japan.
The new hotel is a minimal yet funky facility that gears towards a more adventurous clientele. The design team decided to create a space that minimizes extraneous elements without sacrificing any type of comfort. The hotel has 155 guest rooms, each with a unique design details such as timber veneer elements, tables and chairs that can fold away when they are not needed and small yet comfortable beds. The lobby has a cafeteria that is stocked with water, ice cream, salads, instant noodles, tinned smoked fish and other fast and easy snacks.
The Moxy Hotel is a modern travel accommodation that gives tourists and individuals traveling for work a large conference room, work desks and a well-stocked gym—all of which have the potential to make travel less of a hassle.
