Australia-based architecture firm JBC redesigned and renovated the Longsong restaurant in Melbourne, Australia.
Originally opened in 2005, the restaurant has now relaunched 12 years later with a new modern yet rustic design with the same well-known Thai food menu. Made in a former horse stable, the Longson stands out among the town's traditional dining areas, with a unique interior and exterior design. The space now includes a small seating area, a large standing section and a corner terrace for outdoor dining. The furniture matches the building's color scheme by using classic pieces with dark and earthy tones.
The Longsong Restaurant turned from a hole-in-the-wall Thai food spot into a unique dining experience with this extensive renovation.
