Manon Delafoy Transforms a Space to the OLYSSE Cafe

— April 24, 2025 — Art & Design
Manon Delafoy has been tapped to transform what was once a Thai restaurant into the OLYSSE cafe. The designer is known for bringing attention to clean lines and natural tones, which reflect the tranquil escape from the business of Paris. Delafoy explains, “I wanted to create a peaceful, quiet place in the city that was the opposite of a crowded, basic café."

The studio renovated the space located in the 8th arrondissement. It has a compact area and is decorated with an angle that features plenty of softness and subtle dynamics. She emphasized all levels of curves in order to bring fluidity to the entire interior space. Arches make up the welcoming feeling, which also brings a warm and expansive feeling.
