If you've ever wished that you could get an upper body workout while riding your bike, then you'll want to donate to the FitRider Kickstarter. This concept is essentially a Gazelle Glider combined with a bicycle. You pedal it using both your feet and arms. Since you pedal the bike using your arms, the handlebars have been modified to sit farther back and extend farther up.
The result is a bike that looks admittedly a bit odd. Regardless, the FitRider's ability to provide both cardio and a low-impact upper body workout could prove invaluable to those struggling to lose weight. You can also switch the bicycle to be simply pedal-powered at anytime should your arms get tired. The bicycle is still a concept as the folks behind it attempt to raise $450,000 to get it to the market.
