Wunderlich Kaplan Communications is a New York City-based PR firm that recently launched The Enternship -- a program that exclusively employs middle-aged women.
The program was created specifically for women over the age of 40 who are looking to re-enter the workforce and hone their skills, an opportunity that is unfortunately scarcely found. The PR firm is committed to the "women helping women movement" and targets women who left the corporate world, retirees, and mothers who are looking to re-enter the workforce. Individuals who do not make it into The Enternship program will be able to access "off-site classes, seminars and videos for download."
This program aims to provide equal opportunity for a demographic that is often not prioritized in the workplace.
