Doctor Manzana is a retail tech shop that steps away from the typical mold set out by such spaces as Apple, Best Buy and Future Shop. In place of a stark space or impersonal one, this tech shop boasts a riot of pastel colors that will have some people thinking of the classic board game Candy Land. In a way, many people are as addicted to their devices as they are to sugar, so the comparison is only natural.
Designed by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios of Masquespacio, the tech shop is catchy and memorable, two qualities that are great for any retailer. Throughout the space are witty references to the reflection of touchscreens. This comes in the form of 54 degree angled shelving and signage.
