Darkly Draped Furniture (UPDATE)

Benjamin Hubert Expands the Talma Collection for Moroso

With the previous Talma Collection by Benjamin Hubert, the designer draped an additional layer over the chairs original construction, creating a dark look with an almost weave-like aesthetic. Hubert has expanded this original collection and started to experiment with different forms of chairs.

The previous design focused primarily on a single-person sofa chair, whereas the new collection has more upright seating that would be suitable for placing around a dining room table rather than in a living room. Because the designer used a draping aesthetic, one can still see the various colors of the original form of the chair underneath, which creates a touch of brightness to an otherwise monotone chair.

Hubert has done a great job with making slight updates to a regular chair design with the Talma Collection.
