The new SUV Kit designed by Californian imprint VanLab is inspired by IKEA and its multifunctional elements. It essentially transforms SUVs into entirely functional camping rigs. The kit is packed with a kitchen the width of a tailgate that broadens to also work as a sleeping platform that is a base for a bed and cushions which come with the kit.
It is constructed from Baltic birch plywood and can be configured as users please. The second row of the car can seamlessly store the kit as it can be removed and reinstalled. The kitchen box offers a large amount of space to keep a cooler, dishes, cookware, and a stove for comfortable camping experiences.
