These surreal illustrations by Serbian artist Becha are mesmerizing. The series, entitled 'A Lot Like Yesterday, A Lot Like Never' mixes elements of illustration and collage for maximum effect.
The mysterious jumbled facial features of the nondescript people featured are meant to symbolize the artists memories of people from her past. Some of the women in the series even have clouds of smoke surrounding them as the artist's thinks back in time. All of the illustrations bizarrely feature a surreal addition of an outstretched hand holding an ear. We'll leave that one up to the art critics for interpretation.
The Serbian artist said she was influenced by Andy Warhol's musings on life and memories to create the surreal illustrations in A Lot Like Yesterday, A Lot Like Never.
