The Krispy Kreme Supermoon Super Doughnut is being offered by the brand as a menu item inspired by the upcoming Hunter Supermoon that will provide customers with a delicious way to celebrate the lunar event.

The menu item starts off with an unglazed donut filled with cookies and Kreme filling before being dipped in yellow icing and finished with a series of chocolate cookie pieces. The donut is being offered individually, as part of a specialty dozen or a half dozen for customers to order for pickup or delivery via the brand's app or website, but only while supplies last. Customers can get their hands on the donut for one day only: Thursday, October 17, 2024.

Krispy Kreme Global Chief Brand Officer Dave Skena spoke on the Krispy Kreme Supermoon Super Doughnut saying, "This October’s Supermoon is the biggest all year. So, get outside Thursday night and make the view even sweeter by enjoying and sharing our Supermoon Super Doughnuts."
