These pancakes begin with a batter made from flax eggs that are essentially flax meal combined with water to create a jelly like substance that can bind the ingredients together without the need for animal by-products. Quinoa flakes, arrowroot startch, millet and oat flour are added to the flax egg along with vanilla, cinnamon, maple sugar, spices and dairy-free milk.
