In order to show off the beauty of its products in an unconventional way, Portrait Eyewear created a distinctive sunglasses packaging system.

The eyewear packaging design is made from a simple cardboard box, which has been shaped in an irregular way with prominent facets on its sides. By experimenting with different polygonal configurations, Portrait Eyewear settled on a design that featured enough overlapping to protect the contents within.

The eco-friendly sunglasses packaging design is made entirely of cardboard and uses no glue to hold the components together. This means that after the intriguing box has been appreciated by the end user, it is easy for them to take return the box to a flat state for the purposes of easily recycling it.
