The collection achieves a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) rating of 0.70, allowing the tiles to improve acoustic performance in residential, workplace, and hospitality interiors while utilizing a carbon-storing marine plant harvested from Denmark's coastline after its natural life cycle.
The tiles are available in two coordinating variations that support multiple installation layouts and scales across interior spaces. The manufacturing process dries and recomposes washed ashore eelgrass into durable architectural products rather than discarding the remaining fibers. The material references a long history of Danish construction, where eelgrass was traditionally used for thatched roofs on the island of Læsø.
