It's no secret that designers have been treating practical furniture pieces as part of the decor of spaces for ages now, yet this stool storage idea takes that to the next level. Like a sort of giant board game, stools are slotted into cutouts in the wooden wall when not in use. White, blue and full of sleek lines, these stools end up being as interesting as hanging pictures.
Designed by Vincent & Gloria Architects, the stool storage is fascinating since it's also meant to be interacted with. Used in a meeting room that can also be turned into a hangout space, the unique wall is part of Ekimetrics, an office based in Paris, France. It's playful, modern and, of course, functional. Not to mention it stands out from the crowd.
