The 'Station Diderot' bus station designed by Marcaurel Catarina allows passengers to wait for their ride in style.
The transportation system uplift is inspired by the laid back cafe environment as Catarina envisions a future where people can sip coffee while they wait, grab a sandwich, break out the tunes, charge a cellphone or even borrow a book. Sounds more like a hipster coffee shop than a bus stop, right? Citing quality and comfort as the heart of the project, the Paris Boulevard project hopes to attract more people to consider public transportation. The addition of a bike rental feature only underscores the bus shelter's commitment to the environment.
By giving the world's cities' infrastructure a face-lift, day-to-day dealings may be carried out with added convenience and comfort all while being more environmentally conscious.
