adidas Originals and NFT Designers Launch an Exclusive Collection

adidas Originals is launching into the metaverse and web3 environment with its first line of collectible sportswear NFTs. These NFTs are made in collaboration between adidas and NFT giants such as 'Bored Ape Yacht Club,' 'Gmoney,' and 'Punks Comic.' The NFTs will feature a variety of adidas apparel, such as shoes and shirts, that are co-branded with the NFT designers' logos. The NFTs are made in a variety of styles, each inspired by the iconic NFTs of the three designers.

The adidas x Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT features a blue Bored Ape wearing yellow adidas sportswear apparel with black stripes and the logos from the four collaborators on the shirt. In addition to owning an exclusive adidas NFT, owners will receive digital and physical merchandise from adidas throughout 2022.

In addition to launching this collection of exclusive NFTs, adidas has partnered up with 'The Sandbox,' a gamified metaverse experience, to deliver virtual content and experiences. adidas has also purchased digital land inside The Sandbox to host these experiences on.
